Milan doesn't have a large, beautiful city center that would make the hop-on hop-off bus worthwhile. You can do it, but there are nicer cities.

I took a 3-day pass. The 1st day went well. Access to the bus is easy, the staff are either very pleasant and smiling, or borderline unpleasant. Not all the audioguides worked. For the following days, I found that the journeys were too long to get from one place to another, there wasn't enough traffic (a lot of waiting between 2 buses) and the last buses didn't come late enough, between 5.15 and 6.15pm. Milan doesn't lend itself well to a bus tour: narrow streets, high buildings and, in the end, you can't see much. And when you do see a historic building, the bus goes by too fast.

Had a great experience in Bologna so decided to do it Milan. We did the sport one first as the times matched up. The audio was talking all about stadium and items along the way, way before we see it so was hard to work out the monuments they were talking about. Based on this we opted not to do anymore.
Almost unable to get on the bus from the station. Had to stand the whole time downstairs unable to see or plug in headset. This was the Milan blue line, not enough buses meant waiting for next one wasn't an option. Red line was much better but it was a poor start to the tour. Also unable to see much as tour didn't stop except at the but stops, unable to get off to see places as one bus every 50 minutes meant you couldn't just hop on and off so not really as described. Would be better with just one bus route and many more buses so you can hop on and off with another bus closer behind.
A great way to experience all the wonders of the city. Loved the that we were able to get on and off. The audio experience information was also a plus. Thanks, we will recommend your service. Your employees were very helpful and kind!!
Very practical to be able to visit the most important sights within a short time on a short trip. The trips could start a little earlier in the morning.

Interesting tours. On the second bus, the audio guides didn't work properly. Friendliness of an agent while waiting for the bus a bit to be reviewed. Otherwise, good and worth repeating in other cities.

The lower level was the only level that had open seats. The view from the lower level was restricted by the windows not being big enough to see the city. The heat was on and set at a high temperature. This made staying on the bus uncomfortable.
It was good, the narrations on the device sometimes did not match what you were seeing, but this is very much dependent on how the traffic progresses, a couple of routes are very similar and others have little regularity.

The commentary was good however there were 3 lines that all covered a large amount of the same ground and with the same repeditive commentary. I addition, time keeping of the bus was poor and the time spent at certain stops were excessive. At one popint we sat at the most distant point of the route in a boiling hot bus for no obvious reason. this experience needs more buses and less stopping for no reason and keeping to time
I've been on a number of CitySightSeeing tours over the years, London, Rome, etc. The Milan tour with the 4 different lines made for quite a difficult experience of timing each bus to get on a different line. To get from the Blue line to the Green line can take over 90 minutes if the buses are on time, longer if they aren't. It's very disjointed and takes a lot of time out of your day. We ended up using a mix of the buses and UBER which was far from ideal but necessary to avoid wasting a lot of the day just waiting for buses. But as with all of the tours, the information on the commentary is very good and insightful...
The bus attendants were very helpful. The various lines (blue, red, yellow) can get confusing but they really simplified it for us. We met a bus attendant called Jennifer and her energy is awesome!
Tourist guide Maro was very easy going with no too many information. We had a just right portion of the general information about Dubrovnik and interesting information you cannot find in the books. He has interesting and not pretentious style of presenting his city (he adores it, btw) and he is naturally talented to have excellent relation with the guests. He is obviosly popular amont Dubrovnik which shows a lot about his character. I was late to meet the group and agency and him were very patient and understanding.. Absolutely to recommend!
GOOD WAY TO GO AROUND THE CITY. UNFORTUNATELY THE TOURISTS ARE VERY DIRTY AND LEAVE ALL THE GARBAGE ON THE BUS. THEY ARE NOT VERY RESPONSIBLE WITH THE HEADPHONES AND LEAVE THEM AND TAKE OTHERS AT EACH STOP, PLEASE BE CAREFUL. THEN IN THE AFTERNOON HOURS THE BUS IS ALREADY DIRTY. IT IS A PITY.

Obtaining a ticket online automatically included a previous credit and the employees on the bus were great. We did struggle with getting a map showing where we could hop on and never did receive the confirmation email which may have helped.Ended up calling support and all was good thereafter.
In principle, everything went well. Unfortunately, we had to search for ages on one bus until we found a German guide. And on another bus it was also very hot in the bus in hot weather, as it was closed.

Ticketing was really easy and the instructions sent by Whatsapp were great. We dtrughled a little to find the right bus stop so it would be great to have more detailed instructions for that. The English guiding was great, bus was clean and the staff were friendly.
The guided audio tour was very informative. It was great that there are four different lines included in the ticket although the schedules of the different lines could be better coordinated.
The buses were easy to get on and the routes easy to follow. And definitely worth a visit to the Leonardo da Vinci Museum. We spent three hours there almost unnoticed.

I liked the various line options. The interval between buses on the line that goes to SAN Siro could be shorter, so that you have more time to visit the Milan and Inter stores.

Got a birds eyeview of Milan City. Visited at ease all sites of interest after the tour. This saved time & made tour memorable. Suggest to purchase atleast two day pass.
The weather was not great and the upper level of the bus did not protect you well from the rain. In addition, the narration did not synchronize well with an ability to see the specifics. Walking tours were much preferred.
I was really enjoying my travel experience in Milano. Thank you for this amazing opportunity to explore this wonderful city.
The routes were very interesting but the quality of the headphones was average, we had to try 3 until we were able to listen to the explanations.

The staff were helpful in getting my companion on and off with a walker but the place allocated to sit with a wheelchair had the window completely blacked out so that there was absolutely no view. No good on a "sightseeing" bus. Luckily my companion is not confined to a wheelchair so once some perfectly able people had left the "disabled" seats (labelled with a person with a stick) we managed to move into these seats and get a view.

The entire activity was well executed. Starting from the your guide, the way she took us through the painting explaining the history in quite some detail nd patiently handling questions from the group. Well done and excellent
The entire process with Headout was extremely well organised and positive. We were kept updated with where and when to meet our guide. The tickets were scanned without problems. Our guide - we were so lucky to have such a wonderful engaging lady - Faviola (I do hope I spelt her name correctly) . Her enthusiasm and absolute love of Art history was impressive and helped make our Last Supper experience more than we could ever imagine. Thank you
The guide was excellent & speaks english well. The activity was well-planned. The guide was knowledgeable and able to explain everything in an interesting way.
Excellent explanation from Katerina, normally I don't like tours, but this time it was calm, interesting, friendly and to the point. I totally recommend it and I hope you have the opportunity to do it with Katerina.

The guide was excellent. So knowledgeable. Great details. All arrangements smooth. Good communication. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
Meet up directions were great. Easy checkin. The gudes were great. This tour exceeded our expectations. Great value this tour really made our trip.
Our guide was wonderful. The level of detail and her sheer knowledge of the artwork made for an outstanding tour. Highly recommended!!
Everything ran on time. Our guide was knowledgeable but hard to hear as she was speaking very quietly. Even when the group told her we couldn't hear her well, she said we all agreed we could hear her at the beginning of the tour so basically too bad.
The guide was very informative and gave just the right level of detail for the time available. I don't normally use guides but she provided some really important context for the viewing.
We went to the ticket office and was told to wait in front for our tour guide and he will be holding a banner with the name of the company. There was a person holding a banner but Headout was not included in the list. It took us a while to find him and only because we decided approached him and asked to check our names on his Ipad. Otherwise we would have missed the tour.
I was able to see the last supper which was the main idea . The guide was very good and explain a lot of interesting details. What I don't understand is why we didn't go inside of the church itself and why after admiring the last supper we started walking to Castle Sforzesco, visit the place and I believe the tour ended in Duomo. I didn't book this kind of tour. I book skip the line for Last Supper (for one hour). We had to leave the tour at the Castle since it took more time than expected(I asked the guide and it was one more hour, by then we had been 1 h 45') and we had other reservations. The guide wasn't very happy about it and I understand, but it wasn't my fault. So I wasn't that happy with the whole experience since I don't like to be rude and disrespectful with other people work.
Thought the guide was very knowledgeable and we loved seeing the pix. I wish we would have known in advance that the church was closed mid-day. I would have picked another time.
The Last Supper itself was spectacular. What was mediocre was the signage n directions to find the guide. The image that was sent of the meeting point doesn't correspond with the exact address. Furthermore, there are many different partners using the same agency. The representative was not prompt and did not hold the sign in a conspicuous manner. She was also unaware that many different groups were on her list and told people that they weren't part of the group when they actually were. Clients should also be told what the process will be ahead of the tour. We were told to meet at 415om for the 430pm tour but our tickets were for 5:15pm. It was therefore confusing why we were waiting around and then told to produce our IDs n collect the tickets from the ticketing office. These initial impressions are very important to the overall enjoyment of the experience.
Seeing the art was the best part, and having a little time to absorb it. The audio buds are not great. Hearing is difficult. Head phones would be a much better option
I would definitely experience Headout again, at all times there is quality and truthfulness in the service they offer.

We really enjoyed the tour and the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I would have said 'Awesome' but we had so much trouble finding the guide because she was holding a sign that said 'Towns of Italy'. Don't you think that in a crowded square filled with guides it would make a lot more sense for her to at least have a sticker that said 'Headout'? There was nothing about Towns of Italy on my ticket and it was a stressful start to the tour.
In the app, it was mentioned to arrive 15 minutes early. I arrived but faced difficulty finding my group. The excursion started much later than the scheduled time on my ticket.
Our guide Gianluca was amazing

A meeting point is set up 10 minutes before the tour to give you the audio guide, which is very good. I loved the roof terraces of the Duomo. You get a panoramic view of the city and can see the statues and details of the cathedral. What's more, we had superb, clear weather with a beautiful blue sky. Wow effect guaranteed! We had booked our tickets online in advance (visit to the cathedral + access to the roofs via the stairs) to avoid queuing. Not disappointed! It was our best visit to Milan

Very easy booking and felt great to walk up to like with ticket on phone. The tour was outstanding. Up to the marble slabs of the terrace and then down and into the church. I had plenty of time to tour and take photos
Everything worked perfectly. Milan Cathedral and the Cathedral Museum are an outstanding cultural experience overall. It would be nice if all the options were really included in the overall ticket and you didn't suddenly have to buy a special entrance ticket for the crypt of St. Charles Borromeo in the cathedral.

Milano Duomo was fabulous!!! The roof top experience was just the best. The ticket purchase was easy and the directions were perfect.
When I was about to enter, the agent at the gate made me aware I had booked an actually different date. Instead of loosing the tiquets, he addressed us to the ticket office where a very gentle person issued new tiquets for us. They were all exceptionally kind and saved our visit. Thanks a lot.
The views were spectacular of Milan on the rooftop! We took the stories up and down. Inside was beautiful. We had friends that took the elevator. They thought they could take it up and down, but it was only one way, up.
The interior is even more beautiful than the outside. The views from the rooftop are awesome! And felt like a unique experience since I've never been on the roof of a cathedral before.
The most important thing about the experience is that I did not have to wait too long in the sun to get in. The rooftop views are worth every minute of it and so is the Cathedral.
It has a super easy journey bur it has only 1 problem, please write on the tickets how many stair are. Everything worked fine only that noone told that are 400+ stair.
Everything went very smoothly. The entrance was easy to find. Taking your tickets in advance saves an enormous amount of time, even on the last visit. I'd recommend it. Very nice site to visit. 🤓

Ticketing was easy and our tour guide was great! She was so informative and passionate about The Duomo and the history.
Our guide, Maya, gave us a wonderful balance of art history, political history and good humor. She also recognized the group's needs and was able to respond quickly to changing conditions. We also appreciated the support of other team members at key points in the tour. We are excited to do future tours with Walks!
Absolutely fantastic guide, Daniele, was knowledgeable, informative, appropriately humorous and we could have listened to him all day. Brilliant
Lorella was so knowledgeable and knew the answer to all of our questions. She enlightened us on every aspect of the Duomo and its history. She is the BEST!
Our guide, Lora, was extremely knowledgeable, able to explain and integrate all the relevant history - giving exact dates. Also she was so enthusiastic! Lora also remembered everyone by name and things about them as well. She is amazing!
Tour Guide was very good but she encountered long delay in purchasing our tickets so we lost 15 minutes - these tickets should be purchased beforehand so we do not have to wait. The tour was then cut short as the inside of the cathedral was closed and we missed out on the second part of our tour. Very disappointing as we had paid for tour of both rooftop and inside the Duomo.
Our guide, who was supposed to comment in English, made us very happy by explaining everything in French, as there were only 2 of us - many thanks to him for his performance.

Guide was amazing and spoke fantastic English. She was very knowledgeable about the Duomo and Milan. I felt like I got much more out of the experience with her. 100% recommend!
The cathedral is simply gigantic and well worth seeing. I have to admit that I find it more impressive from the outside than from the inside. Of course, the beautiful windows are easier to see from the inside. The tour was very good. Our tour guide tried to listen to everyone and also included the children present. There could have been less information in the museum. But other participants thought it was great. I'm not a museum fan, I just wanted to go to the cathedral at a good time. The meeting point was easy to find and personal problems were easy to discuss. A tour guide in German would have been even more interesting.

We had a very good experience both with the guide, who told us curious facts, and with the organization of the trip, which gave us time to eat and walk around the villages we visited. You spend a lot of time on the bus but this allows you to see the scenery (better to be quick and take a window as the seats are fixed for the whole trip) and the experience of seeing the lake from the boat is impressive. To look for something negative the explanations were first in English and then in Spanish, so if you understand both languages it becomes a little heavy but otherwise amazing.

Our ticketing experience was fine...we thought we were booking the Bernina train with the full sun windows and table seats...that was not the case. That was very disappointing and misleading in the advertising. We did enjoy the sights, although the heater next to our window seats were so hot that it was uncomfortable. We even used our coats to try to insulate our legs from the heat. Luckily, we were able to open the windows for some cool air. All in all, it was nice scenery, just not what we expected.

The whole trip was really an enjoyable experience. Our guide Salvatori was superb in his description of the geography, history of the region and each of its notable specialties.
